Hi All, I've created a user facing from on guides with some conditional check boxes that are supposed to show other fields when they are check... unfortunately they are aligned vertically and it looks like butt. I have them in a section with these styling attributes: .form-container { display: flex; flex-direction: column;} Below is the closest I've gotten to getting them to look nice, but is also ruined the spacing on all the other fields in the section. const checkboxes = document.querySelectorAll('.form-field.boolean.optional'); const checkboxContainer = checkboxes[0].parentNode; checkboxContainer.style.display = 'flex'; checkboxContainer.style.flexWrap = 'wrap'; checkboxContainer.style.justifyContent = 'space-between'; checkboxes.forEach((checkbox) => { checkbox.style.margin = '10px'; checkbox.style.width = 'calc(20% - 20px)'; }); Any advice out there?
Hello,I would like to display the description of a section just under the name of the section when on the section list page (as it is by default for Categorie). How to achieve this ? Thank you

I'm looking for help/a recipe for reporting on how many tickets (or the % of tickets) solved within 30 days and 60 days of being created. My organization has an expectation that 85% of tickets received will be solved within 30 days, and 98% will be solved within 60 days. I have looked into setting up SLAs to make this reporting possible but it doesn't seem to allow me to setup this specific SLA (i.e. ticket must be solved within 30 days of creation).

I followed instructions to remove Community from my company's Help Center page, and the Community elements and pages still show up. How do I remove them?

We mark our tickets with a custom field called "Ranking," which is set with the permissions-level of "Customers can view." Is there a way to allow our end-users to search or filter tickets by this "Ranking" field?
Zendesk has made a number of changes to the UI of the article creation screens in Guide. This means my internal instruction documents to my help centre contributors are now out of date. Before I start re-writing these, I would like to know whether there are any more major changes to come? Is there a schedule of planned changes?
We are looking to add a working calculator to one of our knowledge articles. Does anyone have a code to be able to incorporate this functionality in an article? I'm new to coding and had tried one I found online but it didn't work.
Is it possible to move the recently viewed and related article section to side-by-side columns on the home page and show only the links? I am trying to make our home page simpler and less space-consuming.
Hi All, We require end-users (external) to be signed in before accessing our Help Center. End-users sign into our platform (not Zendesk) using SSO or username/password and can access the Help Center using a link. Problems: The link to the Help Center doesn't take some users to the Help Center; instead, it requires them to sign back into our platform. The link to the Help Center works, but some users don't have access to the articles they need based on their user segment. We found out during troubleshooting that the tags for the user segment are no longer on their profile. Thoughts on what could be causing this? Thank you!
When you add a new Jira project in Zendesk Support for Jira, it is automatically set to Allowed Projects. I don't want it to be added to Allowed Projects unless I set it manually. What should I do?
Hi, thanks in advance if anyone has ideas.Does anyone know a way to organize the help center home page like this (imagine the brackets represent a box to click):Product A[ Category 1 ] [ Category 2 ] [ Category 3 ]Product B[ Category 3 ] [Category 4 ]Product C[ Category 5 ]Ideally I would like to just make a simple modification of the loop in the Copenhagen home_page.hbs file by using #is or #if statements that use the category ID. Something like --{{#each categories}} <h2>Product A</h2> {{#is id 123 456 789}} {{#if ../has_multiple_categories}} <ul class="blocks-list"> <li class="blocks-item"> <a href='{{url}}' class="blocks-item-link"> <span class="blocks-item-title">{{name}}</span> &
Hi, Let's say we're consultancy company and would like to provide to our customer via Zendesk Help center (especially the profile page) info to that we would have stored in user fields such as the designated account manager. How can we do this please? Best regards, Raphaël
In our org, we allow employees at our retail sites to submit requests from iPads that are not signed into an account when members of management are not present. We have removed the ‘Your email address’ field from our ticket forms (these employees are not aware of their store's email address) and have replaced it with a ‘Store #' field with a dropdown list of our stores. I am looking for a way to run a trigger/other to have Zendesk look at the Store # they chose and match it to the store's user account in Zendesk. I've tried creating a custom field for a store with their Store # and running a trigger off that but could not find a way to do this that worked properly. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me with this? Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone,I have been struggling with Google Search for several weeks. The issue is that when I search for our company's help center on Google, the site name that appears is not the registered site name. For instance, if the site name we registered is 'A', the unregistered name 'B' appears instead. We have tried indexing requests and re-crawling through the Search Console, but each time the indexing request fails, and the issue remains unresolved. We have also followed Google's site name standards, but even this has not resolved the issue. Is there any other solution?Reference link: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7440203 https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/ask-google-to-recrawl https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/site-names Help center theme - document_head.hbs code:<meta property="og:type" content="website" /> <meta property="og:url" content="example.support.com" /> <meta property="og:site_name"content="my help
I have purchased Bing Template, and found that there is no option of Recent Activity to add it on Home page. so I have added the code manually on home page but the output is not what I have expected, I want same design of Recent Activity which looks like Promoted Articles (I made some changes in CSS of Promoted Articles as per my design) The single line of curlybars language code {{recent_articles}} is really pain, didn't get any class, css to work on. Everytime we have to check the Html-Css code in browser > Inspect Element. This little help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.
How can I create a landing page with an FAQ section in accordion style, similar to the Zendesk article [https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4408860552730-Tip-Collapsible-headers-in-articles-or-templates-accordions], where the accordion functionality typically works within Zendesk articles but not directly on the landing page? I'm exploring options to implement this accordion style within the Categories/Articles section to collapse and hide content on the landing page itself. For example, selecting "FAQ" should collapse to display the articles within the same page itself, without opening in a new page. Would this require custom coding, or is there another approach to achieve this?
Is there a way to hide the default ‘Your email address’ field from a ticket form using JavaScript/other? We allow users at our retail locations to submit tickets after-hours from an iPad that is not signed in to any accounts, and we capture their info using a dropdown field for their store number; most of the users submitting these tickets would have no idea what the store's email address is, and it would be much easier if we could simply hide the field, or even turn it into another field entirely without the email validation being done (for instance, capturing the user's phone # rather than email address.)
I want to create a side navigation panel on the article page template (article_page.hbs).It will have the Category of that article as the main link, all the sections as collapsible elements and all the articles listed inside each sections. (see the screenshot of my mockup below). Is there a way for me to get the Category of the article + all the sections of that Category + all the articles of each of those sections inside article_page.hbs template?
I need to update this part for my company. How can I do this? From what I understand, the design and text of the Help Center login are not customizeable, but I presume these can be modified by updating elsewhere. Thanks!
I am trying to add a button to the default search bar. Similar to the search bar in this site, in zendesk help's header. Is there a way to edit the code of the {{search}} in the .hbs file in my theme?
Plan Requirement: Pro Plan and up (if on lower plan see this version) Zendesk level: IntermediateKnowledge: HTML, CSS, JS, APITime Required: 15 minutes Have you ever wanted an easy way to notify your end users of System Outages, Important Announcements, or Releases. If so, then the Notification Banner v2 is exaclty what you are looking for. In my previous versions we had to add a word like "Issue" in the title of your article in order for the notification to show. With the new version we are going to leverage the Zendesk API and use Article labels to display our alerts. In order to shorten this article, you can find all the code and instructions on my GitHub Page.
