Filtering a report by the Agent logged in

Hi

I want to produce a KPI report but I want  to restrict it (filter) it to the person that is logged in to that session so they only see their own details.  

Or is easier set a filter with the default value in the filter to the person logged in  - so they can also see the other team members figures?

    Hi Dave,

    I'm afraid that, at this time, it's not possible to set up a dynamic filter that changes based on the user currently viewing the report. You're right, the best alternative for now is to create a report/dashboard that has a data filter where the user can select values from. But, it wouldn't be possible to set the current user as the default selected filter value; all users will see the same default state when they view the same dashboard. If you need users to have different views/experience when they view reports, then you may have to create separate dashboards for each one.

    This functionality – having a 'current user' filter for dashboards – is in the roadmap of our Product team. You can check out this thread. Based on the most recent comment from the Product Manager, they're planning to have this shipped out by end of the year. You can follow that thread to get notified once there's a new update from Product.
