For Knowledge articles, Zendesk offers the structure of Categories>Sections>Articles, which makes it easier to organize articles into groups of similar content ‘units’. But the content structure in Gather/Community is even flatter- Topics>Posts, which makes it more difficult to organize posts effectively.
Adding even one additional ‘layer’ of organization, e.g. Topics>*Sub-topics*>Posts, should be very straightforward to implement, creates consistency in the content structure between Community posts and Knowledge Articles, and would improve usability/functionality of Community forums overall.
