CSS branding not applied to sign in page (Help Center)

We brand our Help Center with CSS. This works fine for the home page and the "submit a request" page.

The branding isn't applied to the "Sign in" page:
http://XXX.zendesk.com/access/unauthenticated?return_to=%2Fhc%2Fen-us&theme=hc

Zendesk Support told us (ticket #498068) that this feature is currently missing. I do believe it's very important for a consistent, professional experience towards our customers.

This applies to the entire theme, not just branding.

+1 on this request, it would be great to have, currently it makes our login screen look quite bad as its unstyle and out logo stands out like a sort thumb (great for people to notice it, not so great aestethically)

@Wes, end up making anything worth looking at? I am having the same kind of issue. Hoping I can come up with something handy to get the desired look and feel of the login page. I am sure there is something out there that can be used to get this done.

Here is my page if you want to take a look at the problem that we are having with this.

How can I tell if this is planned or not?

  • January 31, 2014

For a closed zendesk where people HAVE to sign on this would be epic ' contact us for a login etc ... '

@Cathy, you can tell if it's planned by a orange button in the right upper corner of this topic.
But at the moment there isn't any :( *subtle hint!*

Kind regards
Kristof

@All

Allowing for customization of the sign in pages is something we've got on the roadmap and will definitely be doing. Please hang in there :)

Another +1 from me Andrew. I would appreciate a timeframe please so I can let my team know what our way forward is with this. Thanks.

Hi Bob,

Unfortunately I can't give you a specific timeline other than this is important to us and that we will definitely be doing it.

Agreed. This needs to happen for sign-in, register, and forgot password pages. Seems like a lot of the features in Help Center were released a bit earlier than they should have been. It's not (yet) a complete solution. :/

+1 for this also.

We have tried changing the rest of our support site to match the style on the sign in page so that we don't have a consistency issue for our users. It would be really good if we could at least change the text which isn't really in the style of our site.

We would love to see our style changes apply to the sign in page as soon as possible though, this worked fine in the 'classic' version which we use for another support site.

Is there a way to just add copy to the sign in page?

We are using Zendesk for internal support and would like to be able to customise the login page to redirect external customers, who have stumbled to our internal portal by chance.

+1 This needs fixing so we can have a custom css applied to all pages

  • April 11, 2014

I think it's 100% essential to be able to customise the sign-in page (and Forgot Password page). I don't understand why the ability hasn't been included already.

On the Registration page as well.

  • April 11, 2014

I agree with all. This is critical to ensure the entire experience reflects the brand.

+2 :)

+1 for the request!
