We are currently exploring the use of Zendesk's generative AI search capabilities within our Help Center and are highly interested in integrating this feature into our custom workflows and applications.
However, we’ve discovered that there is currently no public API or documented method to interact programmatically with the generative search endpoint (/generative_answers.json), particularly due to the need for the contents_data parameter, which is dynamically generated.
We would like to request the following:

API availability for generating or retrieving
contents_dataso that we can use the generative search feature outside the default Zendesk UI. - Inclusion of this functionality in the API roadmap, either as part of Copilot or as a standalone feature.
- Access to any beta program or developer preview if this feature is being explored internally.
Having this API would significantly increase the flexibility and automation possibilities for teams aiming to deliver enhanced AI-powered support experiences.
