to the put api for update org, no errors but it doesnt save the data.
Is there a different way to update the external_id??

Can you share the endpoint you're making the request to, as well as the request method and full payload. Be sure not to include any sensitive information. Also, can you confirm if you're seeing a 200 OK response?
