Is it possible to set an author of the event(change ticket fields etc) other than the user who made a request? For creating tickets there is a possibility to specify author id. Is there a similar functionality or workaround to specify an author of the event for updating ticket fields apart from the comment?

Unfortunately it’s not possible explicitly set the author_id assigned to events when a change takes place on a ticket. If you’d like to share a bit more about your use case here, I’d be happy to look at potential alternative solutions for you.
